The rāga saga acts as a cultural collectiva of our favourite artists from all across, Each raga is an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to "color the mind" and affect the emotions of the audience and this journey (raga) comes from Russia by the freshly amazing! @tru3lov3s is a new artistic form of expression that is experienced in the fading of individuality, giving shape to a new collective awakening frequency.

Tru3 Lov3s is Musical Nomad.
He is traveling all around the world absorbing the Sounds of all of the ethnicities of the planet with the big purpose of creating a new form of expression through the medicine of the sound and unify the collective to rediscover connection and belonging to our planet. Kariyan and I connected in an unexpected way on Instagram. We shared tracks back and forth, but I knew from moment I heard it, that this one was special. It had that rare kind of magic you can’t explain, only feel.

So, we decided to collaborate and finish it together, and the vision was simple. Like its title, the track lives in that space of contradiction, with drum & bass fueling the core, it still caries a slow tempo and emotive energy.

Mit unserem 33ten Igelkarussell reiht sich Stelzenläufer, Koordinator und DJ der Podcastreihe der Faultierdisko aus der Hansestadt zu Rostock, in die Galerie der bunten Klänge ein. 
Die „faule“ Gang wie sich sich selbst bezeichnet lebt den Traum der Entschleunigung. Wir sind völlig d'accord mit dieser Philosophie, nicht zuletzt deshalb wären sich unsere Crews wohl zwangsläufig früher oder später über  den Weg gelaufen. 
Ebenfalls wie seine Crew-Members, durfte er schon an tollen Plätzen seine Musik zur Schau stellen. Neben seiner Hood in Rostock und Umland, durfte er außerdem schon auf dem Fusion Festival seine feinfühlige Musikkollektion live und in Farbe performen. 
Ein traumhaftes Feuerwerk der musikalischen Diversität zeigt mal so richtig wo der Hammer hängt. Mit Nichten sucht man hier monotone und gleichklingende Töne. Ballert euch mal ne ordentliche Portion Vielseitigkeit, wirkt mitunter mehr als Stimmungserheiternd- Also passt bloß auf, dass ihr nicht zu schnell süchtig nach dem Zeug werdet 🤤

Das solltet ihr nicht entgehen lassen, also nicht lang schnacken…

I always found it challenging to record a studio podcast: my analytical mind is trying to calculate every move, evaluate each transition & criticize the selection. I have time, music & equipment at my disposal, but one key element is missing to really tell a story: humans.

I encountered that problem last weekend. Although I was playing music I enjoy, I felt that my technically structured mix was too stiff and impersonal. 

____

Then, some of my favourite humans turned up at the studio. As Ashley, Apolline, Axel & Robin entered the room, the studio was suddenly filled with a great energy & I felt like pressing the rec button again, just for fun - this is when the first minutes of  S y m b i o s e  were captured.

I feel this studio mix is an authentic representation of the energy levels I like to navigate through during a longer set. It features some of my favourite tracks in a nod to the past but also has a touch of the future; new sounds that are moving me forward & some of my new compositions.

I’m happy to share this mix as I’m taking off for Argentina, what marks my first adventure of the decade. This music session brought me clarity, presence & joy! I hope you'll resonate with it.

With all the negativity surrounding the state of the world, most of us turn to music for comfort.  I tried to get take advantage of this time alone at home to work on spreading the music I love, but I'd be lying if I said it was easy to get inspired. I take comfort in knowing I'm not the only one.... I tried and I tried to make a new LOST mix that somehow related to being Quarantined, but I came up empty handed. Luckily for me, I have some artistic friends from around the world!  

Pleasse welcome a fellow downtempo music lover, Wolfke, to the LOST family. Wolfke is a dj from Germany, who has been an avid supporter of my music since the beginning. For that I thank you :) I hope you all enjoy his guest mix! 

"At this moment a virus has completely changed the way we interact, communicate and connect with one another. It's also changed the way we listen to music. There's never been a time with more productions, because creative musicians all over the world use the quarantine to release their work with the help of the internet.

For me something was missing amidst the rush of livestreams, productions and mixtapes! A lot of sets and mixes out there were made to distract from the dreadful topic Corona. After hearing Bill Gates' TED-talk I knew I had to alter his voice and use in a set to confront the audience with Covid-19. Meeting a problem head on makes you think about solutions and will make some people optimistic. What can YOU do to make this world a better place for everyone?" -Wolfke
