Max is one of the most productive House DJ/Producers in Belgium, Max began playing guitar in Rock bands, migrated to Jazz and eventually fell down the rabbit hole of Deep House. Mr. Telaer has now several imprints on his behalf in various and international labels. He's a regular in Berlin where he’s played alongside accredited producers in the cult club Loftus Hall. In his hometown, Brussels, Max requires no introduction. He’s played in Fuse, is a regular at various open air events, and holds down a residency at La Cabane. He's also be part of a new live concept called grooveboxmasters

The third vinyl, BHMWAX003, includes Four House Bangers from the one and only Max Telaer. After huge contributions to the first two records of the label, he is back with a full vinyl of his own.

The vinyl starts with “Imperfections”, heavy kicks, vocal chops, a deep baseline and beauty of a piano riff that brings that ultimate House vibe. This track is for the dance floors.

Followed by “About The Universe”, an absolute favourite! Heavy but clean deep drums with a groovy bassline produced on the groovebox-909. The keys represent a melancholic groove that goes perfectly with the vocals.

The B side kicks off with the old-school groovebox-505 sound. “You’re Something Else” is a raw classic Max Telaer production with a heavy attack bassline. Topped off with a smooth synth, vocal loops and classic piano keys.

The last but not least track of the vinyl is called: “All I Want To Do”. Another raw House music production that closes off this beautiful record.

Belgium-based DJ and producer, Max Telaer is a modern music’s poet who’s developed his own sound signature over the years.

Maxime Mattelaer aka Max Telaer has built himself a reputation in the electronic music scene with his quality productions and his elaborated mixes as a DJ.  He has releases on several international imprints under his belt to date and also a regular in Berlin where he’s played alongside accredited producers in the cult club Loftus Hall and the Salon Zur Wilden Renate.

In his hometown, Brussels, Max requires no introduction. He’s played in Fuse, is a regular at various open air events, and holds down a residency at the club La Cabane.

Recently Max Telaer and Habibi Grooves created a new duo called Grooveboxmasters. The concept is simple: Playing live with 2 Groovebox MC-505 by Roland.  They are Currently working together on their own Label Gooveboxmasters Records which is already showing promising future.

This is the 77th release on Ireland's Elevation and features a classic disco tinged vocal courtesy of Disc Eyes and catchy hooks and grooves by the label boss and is sure to be a future Elevation classic.

We are delighted to release the debut album of Max Telaer. Max lives in Brussels and is probably the most solicited up and coming artist in the Belgian House scene, with releases on Gents & Dandy Records, Pulse Msc, Being All Here, Play Label, Ltd, B/Lbl, Inhale Exhale Records to name a few.

He has a real talent of programming grooves that hit and make your body move, without neglecting the melodic part of his songs.

With this debut album Max goes a step further by exploring his inner thoughts and feelings. “2 Faces” is actually a reflection of 2 moods. The first being a dark one and the second being a more positive one he aspires to. All these feelings are translated in emotive vibes all along the tracks.
