The city of San Francisco was big part of my upbringing and it’s vibe made a huge impact on early stages of my career. One of our “hometown heroes”, Kaskade, was always a person I really looked up to and his sound had a great influence on my own music. When I found out 4AM was turning 10 years old this month, I wanted to do something special because this song was a big part of my musical journey and Kaskade has been my good friend for so many years. Honestly I can’t think of a more genuine human being in this industry than Ryan. The goal was to step out of my comfort zone with this remix since the the original gives off such a beautiful mysterious vibe.
