The Cave

Silver's Shadow is an original composition by Maxwell Dotts. It is an experimental piece that was formulated from the concept of creating as much tension as possible using only the 5 notes of the C Major pentatonic scale.  The piece describes an East Asian settler's perspective of the action and diverse cultures in California's Gold Rush around 1850.

"The Beginning" is an original composition by Maxwell Dotts that conveys the ideas present in a narative Western movie or video game trailer. The music moves and progresses as though new main characters are indroduced and the plot is hinted at, as if a character is assembling a team.

The Path to the Citadel is an original composition by Maxwell Dotts. It is based on a piece of concept art from the video game Destiny 2.

"Railway to Valhalla" is an original group composition written by Maxwell Dotts, David Spitzfaden, Hannah Santos, and Brian James. This piece was written for an interactive music concert where audience members volunteered to participate in games led by the composers. The sounds at the beginning of the piece are to show the live audience the sound queues that trigger the beginning of each team's turn. In the game this piece was designed for, the first team was Team Viking and the second, Team Cowboy. Almost every sound was recorded by a live player with the credits as follows:

"Blueberry Scone" is an original group composition by Maxwell Dotts, Brian James, Matthew Smith, and Tyler Keagan. This piece was designed to be a 30 second sound clip suitable for advertisements or otherwise. Recording credits are as follows:

Blueberry Scone

This piece was composed by Maxwell Dotts and was inspired by the story of the Odyssey. The intended image is that of the short time of peace of a hero's return home, but also the slight uneasiness of knowing that it all may crumble away from him again soon.

Flowers of Ash and Lavender

"The Ecstasy of Kombat" is an arrangement/remix of the original Mortal Kombat main theme, with nods to the "Ecstasy of Gold" theme from "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." This arrangement was entirely created by Maxwell Dotts(@max_dotts on Instagram), with Miguel Chavez (@mcguitarofficial on Instagram) playing the guitar tracks.

"Forgotten Monastery," is a original composition by Maxwell Dotts. Its themes and moods were heavily inspired by the video game "Zelda: Breath of the Wild," as well as the Southern Air Temple from the TV show "Avatar: The Last Airbender."
