The opening chant of Van Heden’s single on Generation Smash is a call to arms. Dancefloor rhythm masters prepare the space because once ‘Bad Boy Sound’ drops, this latest cut on Generation Smash will undoubtedly cause havoc.

A newcomer to the electronic scene, 2020 was the year that Van Heden’s unveiled his debut release ‘Javeline’. The emerging Swedish producer/DJ arrived on Generation Smash earlier in 2021 with ‘Play That Again’ and is now back with ‘Bad Boy Sound’ for his second release on the famed Belgian imprint.

Smash The House regular D-wayne returns to release another banger via sister label Generation Smash, teaming up with Gwise for ‘Waste No Time’. D-wayne has enjoyed a fruitful time on the release front over the past couple of years, with releases appearing on Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak and Spinnin’, as well as regular releases on Smash The House, and this debut collaboration from the pair is a match made in heaven, with an impressive combination of electronic sounds and urban flavours, set to further propel both artists’ careers. 

An imposing rap vocal appears from the start, pushing the track forwards and providing the intensity in the beginning, as Gwise and D-wayne’s impressive production capabilities are brought to the fore early on, as a gliding lead sits atop a pounding kick drum, and ensures the track strikes a fine balance. War drums in the main breakdown give the track are in keeping with the track’s ominous nature, and cement ‘Waste No Time’ as a certified dancefloor destroyer.

D-wayne has seen support on recent releases from acts such as label bosses Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Blasterjaxx, ANGEMI and David Guetta, and he once again displays his diversity on ‘Waste No Time’. Don’t miss out, grab a copy, out now via Generation Smash!
