El año pasado, dos de los artistas descubiertos por Ximena han roto todos los records (@alveemx y @badwolf_music_ ), creando un estilo musical difícil de definir, único en su especie. Involucrando letras con mensajes directos.
Trae consigo un sonido alternativo que ha logrado permanecer en toda una generación. Su selección musical es intensa, con vocales, melodías casi exclusivamente producidas por ella.

Ahora Imponiendo nueva corriente hacia el rap electrónico, su primer album de rap denominado МЕХТАРЕ у MENSAJE DE LAS ESTRELLAS ft. PHONZI & MALDITO (Con remixes de BadWolf y WOLF), son ejemplos de su nueva visión.

Maya Santana is a German-African American Techno DJ. Her sound combines elements of hard techno, industrial techno, hypnotic techno and trance. Santana’s unique track selection and blending creates layered sensual soundscapes that entice the audience. Her unique and ecstatic energy is engaging and encouraging for your own self expression.

Maya Santana is the founder of Tahoe Techno Collective. South Lake Tahoe’s first and only all techno collective. Santana has enjoyed exposing techno to the community of Lake Tahoe and is eager to expand the underground techno network of the west coast. With her collective Santana’s goal is to empower unique artists who deeply prioritize the values that the techno scene was built on: radical inclusion, rebellion and movement.

Maya Santana is a very well rounded techno artist. Her most notable sets, in San Diego for Texture, AMA Sounds, EventVibe, ChezSpee, and WeRX. Maya Santana has made her way to Art cars and Vampire Empires at Burning Man. Played sets in South Lake Tahoe and Reno for Station Seven Productions, and Off the Record Media. Santana has also done Mixes for Obsidian, a San Diego based collective who is breaking down in the Underground and a Radio Show for KWNK 97.7 FM which features an interview highlighting her collective in South Lake Tahoe, discussing inspirations musically and the challenges of exposing a historical genre to a new community.
