Sax improvisation on a fantastic unforgettable piece of my idol Stevie Wonder!
My piano is very essential, compared to many covers I've heard but I built it as a function of sax solo ... and my modest knowledge of this instrument !!
His music has influenced very much my taste in music and I wanted to pay homage to him with this simple track.

Needless to say, all your advice or comments, too negative, is welcome ...

It was a hit for many artists over the years including Dinah Shore and Frank Sinatra. It was also used in the Fritz Lang directed 1952 movie "Clash By Night" from which the photo is taken.

I present to you my version of the seminal 1930's classic, "Georgia on My Mind" .
Written in 1930 by Hoagy Carmichael and Stuart Gorrell (lyrics) and first recorded that year. It has often been associated with Ray Charles, a native of the U.S. state of Georgia who recorded it for his 1960 album The Genius Hits the Road.

Don Grolnick was a two-fisted session pianist who also played with Michael Brecker in Steps Ahead and other groups.  His remarkable composition, Pools,  originally had an extended "verse" (or intro)which was fully half the song and is rarely heard now, but Axel Weiss recalls the flavor of it with his bossa ending.

My music is very instinctive. I like all kinds 
of music even if I attend most assiduously 
 Pop, Classical and Jazz.
I compose mostly with the piano but 
I'm experimenting  with the composition
 with acoustic guitar. I enjoy playing Sax 
and Trumpet (keys) in my tracks and in 
collaboration with other soundclouders.
I write and sing in Italian lyric and I am
 improving my singing in English. I hope
 my passion for music can give
 you some nice feeling.
