Star Trek Online - 08 Klingon Battle Suite (Part 1)

Our show follows the misadventures of two hard-working employees who learn about scientific phenomena by working at an inter-dimensional hotel managing the tedious service industry minutiae of taking care of guests, cleaning rooms, and tending bar.

We want to take the mind-blowing documentary fact-teaching of COSMOS and Planet Earth and marry it to accessible storytelling and rich, character-driven world-building. We plan to take actual scientific theories and use them as cornerstone concepts for each plot. 

Our leads are relatable, likeable, 20-/30-somethings in your typical service job. They’re clever, sarcastic, human and fallible, and you feel kinship hearing them complain about school loan payments and pain-in-the-ass customers before putting on the fancy face for guests. They’re not superheroes or scientists; they’re using wits and resources to get their jobs done despite threat of spaghettification and cross-dimensional debt collectors. The very nature of the hotel setting makes inclusion of featured guests seamless and we have high hopes for who might check in.
