Robot Heart has been inspiring me for years. 

It's a place where one can speak truly as an artist, providing a platform to create transformative moments in time. 

The month before Burning Man I was incredibly inspired to create special new tracks and edits for that Robot Heart morning. 

Half of them didn’t even make it into the set as I prefer to follow my feelings and instincts at the moment.

Robot Heart to me, is the passion to create and experiment. It embodies the value of being present.

“4 years ago I went to Mayan Warrior, Tulum to dance & explore. I remember the excitement on the dance floor, the respect for the music, the art, the lights & the attention to every little details. I was fully inspired.

This year I wanted to do the same. I’d just finished two long weeks of touring and wanted to have a good dance with friends.
Everything fell into place when the Mayan crew reached out and told me there was an open slot for me to play. I so excited and jumped right in. It's the kind of event where you don't need to think about what to play, you just feel it.

I didn't plan on releasing the set but, as we celebrate life in the dance floor like we always do, it felt right to share it.”

Mayan Warrior is the result of a collaborative project that has united artists, craftsmen, photographers, designers, technologists, architects and musicians from Mexico City and Northern California. 

The project’s original intent was to present to the world the incredible ascent of contemporary Mexican electronic music while paying respect to the deep and ancient sources from which that visual and auditory culture had grown.


Both light and sound are curated by some of the world’s most prominent artists to transport participants to the very origins of the culture – and to a new understanding of contemporary electronic expression.

AND YES: Mayan Warrior is driven from Mexico City to the playa – and back – each year. It's a labor of love and we're glad so many people enjoy it.
