It was a Monday afternoon at the legendary Hopper floor, I can safely say that this 5 hours - sweaty - journey felt like magic as always at Kater Blau. What a weekend, anchored in my memory as one of my highlights of this year ✨💕

Summer season 2022 was good to me and I want to say thank you to all my friends, promoters and supporters with this upload from my gig at 3000Grad Festival. I had the pleasure to be the last one on a powerful Void Soundsystem at a super hot Sunday afternoon. That are just the first two hours of my closing set from the 'Schiff Ahoi' stage, I decided to cut the last one...

We are starting the trend of sharing amazing sets from our evening at The Nightsky Celebration one after the other. The sets have become our obsession. Wow, this set really transforms us back to that epic night!

With Madmotormiquel he took us on cosmic trips, disco dances, all underneath the red nightlights. We are always immensely captivated by his music and are always huge fans of his music. He is a true musical genius who understands how to elevate the audience.

With the deep union between psychedelic mystical patterns and solid rhythm layers expressed with the passion of our roots, Diego Angelico Escobar aka Concret started to play, the crowd was ready to celebrate and enjoy this new chapter of the 2016 Mayan Warrior Soundtrack. 
 
Concret is an Italo-Mexican music art project. After founding Trafico Music in Mexico and publishing on German label Toy Tonics/Gomma and London based label Nein, this upcoming year he will come out with a lot of new original work, will present his new live band project and will be touring around the world.

Bubu is a DJ musician originally from Mexico City and Tepoztlan. In his dj sets he combines electronic and acoustic sounds, melancholy and intense moments of minimal and progressive structures. As a producer he has collaborated with artists such as Capri, Blond:ish, Jay Haze, Thomass Jackson, Iñigo Voltier, Andy Kenguan and others under his pseudonym and independent project Beyou. He is the founder of ILS Record label and he is a member of the Mayan Warrior Crew and a resident of the Acidcase parties along with Acid Pauli. He is also half of the duo Gandaia  that has been part of the most important festivals such as Burning Man, Trópico, Bahidora, YAM, Ondalinda and others. He is a resident DJ of M. N. Roy and Studio Bar Department in Mexico City.

Bubu es un músico y DJ originario de la Ciudad de México y Tepoztlán. En sus sets combina sonidos electrónicos y acústicos, melancolía y momentos intensos de estructuras minimales y progresivas. Como productor, ha colaborado con artistas como Capri, Blond:ish, Jay Haze, Thomass Jackson, Iñigo Voltier, Andy Kenguan y otros bajo su seudónimo y proyecto independiente Beyou. Es el fundador del sello discográfico ILS Records, es miembro del Mayan Warrior Crew desde sus inicios y residente de las fiestas Acidcase junto con Acid Pauli. The flames from the man have faded away, the cold is not easy to deal with... DJ Tennis has to go on a mission so Jennifer Cardini takes over to continue the Journey on the side of Rebolledo... The dust storms are getting stronger and more frequent but this would not stop the powerful and energetic drive they created to move on towards the last sunrise of the week... Mission Accomplished.

Madmotormiquel brings us Flow Sessions 006, a warm, emotive and funky mix of house, techno, electro and more. To say the least, we are thrilled to have such a prolific mind bring us no.6. Enjoy.

Born and raised out of West Berlin Michel had only music and collecting records on his mind from an early age. Influenced by British ‚77 punk- rock and US punk from the late 80ies he soon realised musical boundaries were nothing for him. His equally large passion for hip-hop paved the way to first electronic productions. Big beat, drum ‚n‘ bass, acid techno, early spiral tribe stuff...His first fusion festival in early 2000 as well as many illegal open airs and parties in a Berlin filled with open spaces after the fall of the wall, made clear the path he would take. Up until then a party DJ with diverse genres, his passion for techno/house music steadily grew. Through own events with Bachstelzen, a collective of organisers that has greatly influenced Berlin‘s party scene with its events in elaborately themed off-locations, the course was set for frequent techno/house DJ gigs.

Mayan Warrior is the result of a collaborative project that has united artists, craftsmen, photographers, designers, technologists, architects and musicians from Mexico City and Northern California. 

The project’s original intent was to present to the world the incredible ascent of contemporary Mexican electronic music while paying respect to the deep and ancient sources from which that visual and auditory culture had grown.


Both light and sound are curated by some of the world’s most prominent artists to transport participants to the very origins of the culture – and to a new understanding of contemporary electronic expression.

AND YES: Mayan Warrior is driven from Mexico City to the playa – and back – each year. It's a labor of love and we're glad so many people enjoy it.
