Watching these images takes me right back to what might have been the most beautiful show I have ever played. What makes the Mayan Warrior so special is not only the production scale but the vibe of everyone involved. It’s a family and I’m happy to feel like I’m part of it. I think this reflects in the music being played on this art-car.
My set has been a journey for me personally and musically, and I hope you get a glimpse of what I felt when I played these songs."

Next up and the second release for 2025, we welcome yet another first for Pro B Tech Music, Nick Omra, we have another outstanding producer coming from Sri Lanka keeping the flag flying for top tier sounds.
We bring in a 4 tracked EP, two originals, title tracked End Of The Sea and Find A Space, each comes with a remix to suit, First up Doug Crawford does his thing on End Of The Sea, and Martin Gardoqui & Destain do their for Find A Space.

The first of the originals End Of The Sea, sets things off in a powerful motion, from the off you are given a strong/solid 4/4 kick that is then introduces a driving, bassline, before the main melodic elements come through, This is a superb start to the EP.

Next up is the Doug Crawford remix, Doug is yet another new artists for us a Pro B and sure to not be last, Doug really keeps the drive and power of the original, whilst actually taking things up a notch, Doug's introduction of several key changes during a post break really stand out, a big remix here

We then go back to the second original, Find A Space, This has an almost tribal groove throughout, with haunting, beautiful vocal, a really cool groover.

And last up we welcome back Martin Gardoqui (ARG) and first up for us Destain (ARG), The guys as expected produce a superb remix here putting their own stripped back version whilst keeping that groove of the original,

"Normally I know that high expectations kill the vibe, so I always try to walk my way open minded and don’t expect anything special from the future, but this time I couldn’t help it. When the Robot told me that she wanted me to play the sunrise set and that we will be connected with the Mayan Warrior soundsystem, I could feel it already in Berlin a full three weeks before… Then when I finally took the bus over to Robot Heart it was even better than in my craziest expectations. This gig was by far the most emotional gig I have ever played. All I can say is thank you, I am even more happy now to be born on this weird planet which can be really beautiful sometimes, when you give it  chance to be free. Thank you you for dancing with me and giving me so much Love. So here is my try to give something back.

The human body is the most highly engineered object in existence, a machine of uncountable parts and unfathomable function. Its workings have served as inspiration for all of humanity's greatest inventions. This work is an homage to the two most amazing mechanisms in that machine: the human eye and hand. The head is a 16 foot camera obscura demonstrating the ray optics principals underlying the spherical lensed eye humans posses and the hands are actuated mimicking the tendons and bones of the body. Together they represent what separates life from the rest of the universe, the ability to observe the world around us and manifest change in that world.

To many that might sound like two very different aspects of modern sound culture - which in turn makes Monolink a fascinating character, because he's both rolled into one. Guitar chords merge into synthetic pad sounds, hypnotic bass vibrations meet emotional vocal parts, passionate physicality meets sublime stimulation for the mind.

"It began with a crazy sandstorm around the Mayan Warrior Bus so there were not that many bike-riders following us when I started. But with every second of this wild desert sunset, more and more people joined our stage. In the end I couldn't even see the end of the crowd. I am so thankful to everybody who faced the sandstorm and danced with us in the dust. You guys and mother nature created a very special vibe, which I will never forget.
Actually I played 4 tracks which I never had played before. Two of them are not even released yet. I really hope you like this set. See you next year at the playa In dust we trust"

Mayan Warrior is the result of a collaborative project that has united artists, craftsmen, photographers, designers, technologists, architects and musicians from Mexico City and Northern California. 

The project’s original intent was to present to the world the incredible ascent of contemporary Mexican electronic music while paying respect to the deep and ancient sources from which that visual and auditory culture had grown.


Both light and sound are curated by some of the world’s most prominent artists to transport participants to the very origins of the culture – and to a new understanding of contemporary electronic expression.

AND YES: Mayan Warrior is driven from Mexico City to the playa – and back – each year. It's a labor of love and we're glad so many people enjoy it.
