Words can't describe yet another sunrise of epic proportions this time at the C.A.M.P. (Calling all Magical People) co-created gathering. Right at the beginning of my DJ set at 4:30 am on July 4th (US Independence Day) the cops showed up to try to shut the party down due to noise complaints.

I had the difficult task of keeping the decibel levels under a certain threshold, so I had to nurture a huge dance floor for the closing set of the festival until 7am somewhat quietly until we were able to ramp up the volume to proper dance floor levels.

I am not sure if it was that we all wanted this so badly, or the majestic rays of sunshine coming down upon us, all I know is that 17 encore songs & tracks after the supposedly closing "Lovely Day" song, we kept raving and raging until we almost dropped.

One of the most memorable mornings in my 21 years of DJ'ing. Here's the recording of the full 4.5 hrs of the closing sunrise DJ set. I hope it takes you all back and for those of you who weren't there I hope it brings you the sunrise  joy and magic we collectively had.

Isaiah Martin has been an integral part of programming the music for PlayAlchemist for years and is our Music Maestro for the annual Alchemist Ball. This year he invited Snow Raven to perform live with him and the magic was electric! Their set was completely unrehearsed and a pure flow state of music. SNOW RAVEN - SUOR was born in one of the most remote and cold inhabited places in the world - the Republic of Sakha - Yakutia (arctic Siberia). She was three years old when she started to learn the language of birds and animals. Her voice takes its breath from traditional Sakha culture and is truly an instrument. A fantastic start to 2023. Dreamscape / Crania chapeau! Location, production, and all the fun anomalies made this night memorable and the recording fire. Taking over from DJ Harvey made me kick off the set light and tropical before I found a clear direction on where to take things. Shout out to @dramian for closing it so tastefully, and much love to everyone for the overwhelming feedback this weekend.

Grateful I get to play these beautiful pieces. Many unreleased, so high fives to all the studio nerds out there i admire.

here is my set I played at the legendary Kiosk at KaterBlau in Berlin Sunday night for Britta Arnold's party Grrr mit Brrr ⚫️✖️

KaterBlau for me has always been more than a club, it’s a musical landmark, a playground full of surprises, a cosy and unique space to be free and one of my favourite places on earth! 

the Berlin crowd is very educated. they are in a way even spoiled with good music all the time, yet they are so open and welcoming to anything and you can see and feel that they want to support new and excited faces! 

i felt very comfortable and welcomed behind the decks even though i was beyond excited to play amongst my biggest inspirations and my legs were still shaking towards the end of my set.

the sound of the recording is unfortunately not the highest quality, but i still want to share it with you and i hope you enjoy it as much as i enjoyed playing it 🌟💫 

It was a super fun party. thanks to everyone who came, danced, cheered, showed love.

What a week it was! It was my 3rd burn this year and it was such a good feeling to play for the amazing @thegardensofbabylon crowd at HOME! 
When I started playing the sun was almost finished setting and a beautiful full moon was rising. The weather and the colors of the sky were so perfect! I hope my recorded set from that evening gives you similar feelings we all felt there!

We set off into the dusty deep playa in search of the fire breathing dragon where her twin flame was waiting. We were received by our tribe, all dressed in white, and the ceremony began. We witnessed the union of the two most beautiful souls, blessed by three shamans, surrounded by love and the highest vibrations. I climbed the stairs back to the top of the Mayan Warrior and so began the musical journey. As the sun dipped behind the mountains and the vibrant colors began to fade, we went deeper, darker. 

That day, so many dreams became reality. Words can't describe the gratitude I feel for being a part of this magic. Thank you Mayan Warrior for making this all possible."

Jenner - Mayan Warrior - Burning Man 2018

Mayan Warrior is the result of a collaborative project that has united artists, craftsmen, photographers, designers, technologists, architects and musicians from Mexico City and Northern California. 

The project’s original intent was to present to the world the incredible ascent of contemporary Mexican electronic music while paying respect to the deep and ancient sources from which that visual and auditory culture had grown.


Both light and sound are curated by some of the world’s most prominent artists to transport participants to the very origins of the culture – and to a new understanding of contemporary electronic expression.

AND YES: Mayan Warrior is driven from Mexico City to the playa – and back – each year. It's a labor of love and we're glad so many people enjoy it.
