As Debit, the Mexican-American producer, DJ and audio engineer Delia Beatriz has released thunderous, triplet-filled club music, invigorating ambient, and percussive remixes. She also DJs for Azaelia Banks, and on her new album, combines ancient Mayan wind instruments with machine learning. She speaks to Eoin Murray about her desire to contribute to the canon of electronic music, working with new tech, and making ambient music that goes beyond “beautiful”

Loveable, Hard Working, Absolutely Rowdy Party Starters, Speaker Freaks... yea I dunno, what more can you say about Sorry Records? One of New York's hardest working crews, and a bottomless well of support for the city's scene. With a love of dance music that seems to spring eternal, two of the very large brains (and hearts) behind the label finally make it to the Sweat Equity mix catalog, dropping an absolute ruckus of a mix from their Breaks in America party at Bossa.

"So I have been getting into a lot of rave and eurodance stuff for the last 2 years or so, I didn’t have this experience before other than a few classics that went big in China as well. I feel like it’s giving me a better idea of the club scene and pop culture in general in Europe. My second alias DJ Ruan is where I am experimenting this interest of me, I am combining Chinese melodies and influences into very fast rave genres such as trance, hardcore, breakbeats, etc, an EP is on its way and I have featuring a few of the tracks on here. Also with some very nice new and unreleased stuff from my friends and some of my recent favourites, I am trying to forge this fun and uplifting Eurasian connection through this mix. " - @RUIHO
