On a superb stretch of sand, just south of Todos Santos ( Baja, Mexico) I had the pleasure of celebrating with some 150 remarkable people. A private, week-long engagement was the occasion where this mix underscored the magnificent rural setting, epic sunsets, and the magic of friendship. Deep, Dub-influenced cumbia, with hints of various other Latin rhythms are represented by a new crop of breakaway producers hailing from the U.S. to Brazil. I hope you make this your favorite beach or poolside soundtrack to an endless summer...

New EP from original Outta song-marauding pitch-doctor, Mettakin; Ülgen conceptualizes the tamer side of his production, delivering natural and organic sound of meditative whomps. The EP is accentuated by the guest musicianship of @lo-renzo-project with his sublime sarangi and guitar playing skills , and Cédric Barreteau with the soaring violins on Eagle Son Dub.

An artist without a specific identity – not defined by a  genre but by his creativity. His affinity with music began when learning  how to play guitar that he patiently taught himself via an insatiable  amount of practice and dedication. Blending different styles of  music ranging from classical, soul, funk, jazz, trip-hop, metal and  others, ElektroBin first discovered music production in a distant 2001.  Throughout all these years, fellow producers, sound engineers, DJs, have  accompanied him and helped tremendously in nurturing the sound and  making him grow as an artist. Despite the fact that Foeniks has  never pursued a specific genre of music, he dabbles in trance, techno,  electro-rock, drum ‘n’ bass, breakcore, and cinematic music. He’s  confessed that he was simply interested in all of those genres, but not  reaching his own identity as an artist.
