We played a chill world house music set on KXLU 88.9FM on the show "In A Dream" hosted by @mysticpete in the beginning of the year before the pandemic and lockdowns hit USA.

Since we were playing from 4-6PM on a Friday which is peak traffic commute radio hour we wanted to ease everyone into the weekend with some groovy tunes from around the world, blurring boundaries between genres and styles, set to chill house beats for a perfect start to the weekend. 

We ended with a track featuring a powerful speech from Greta Thunberg, ending with the words - "The real power belongs to the people", a message, we thought would inspire us for the year that had just begun. Little did we know, that the world was about to turn upside down, and teach us the very same thing. 

We never ended up recording the set, because this year wrecked us. We spent the year stuck in a creative rut, busy keeping the lights on and barely managing to stay safe and sane. We finally lifted our heads and it was already December, and we convinced ourselves to record the set thanks to some hope and inspiration offered by friends around us. 

Our only hope is that this set spreads some joy. We are all in this together and we will make it through. 

The real power belongs to the people!
