clean-break to realign.
took a minute to relight that,
took a second to come right back

life’s a blur, twenty five
toss and turn on both sides,

lower east side and cacophony
spent the whole year working on some unreleased
i’ve been absent, not idle, from the plot, discrete
can only do so much before i strain
audio and visual, i swap between the lanes,
sending stems and vfx, reviewing all the takes
render til it’s semiautomatic in my brain
mix a track to hit the stage there’s so much more to gain
i said,
album, b-sides,
final version realized
kept the runtime real tight,
kept my circle air tight,
found a girl, my type
chrome nails and mai tais
promised her a headline
gotta hit the timeline,
twenty five, our time
breaking bread with brothers i call mine
always up and down, we just step back see the sines

been a whole year, where the songs? people asking
