Been a second, but back with a very fresh recording from twin faves Twinsanity @tw_ins tw_ins tw_ins!

Recorded live on a hazy morning at Spincycle at Killing Time last month (the after-hours project from @becarmstrongmusic and @terrytec), this is a 3 hour trip through the dirtiest, whackiest, sludgy-bass minimal bombs that these two have up their sleeve. Pure get Perlonized heat +++!! 

These two are some of the freshest deejays around at the moment and it's an honour to share such a special live recording that showcases everything the twins do best. Enjoy the ride 🌀🌀

Low Flung ( @lowflung ) is the long-standing project of Sydney based visual artist Danny Wild. Danny has been present in the East coast underground scene for quite some time now, having cemented his place with an incredibly diverse musical outputs, from ambient and dub to tech house.

"Equally influenced by dub’s sense of space and the rolling expanse of the Australian landscape, Danny fuses field recordings and organic instruments with synthesized soundscapes and buoyant digi basslines to create music that offers an uncanny evocation of place and a keen spatial awareness." - Hani Hanbali

Here we are treated to a live, tech house tinged set from Danny's recent visit to Polyrhythm festival in the ACT.

The ever charismatic and talented FB Perimeter ( @fb-perimeter) graces the Animix this week with a classy vinyl blend of house, minimal & grooves. 
Finn started off in the nation's capital, as one of the brains behind Canberra's favourite music spot, Sideway.

Relocating to Melbourne pre-covid, Finn helped massively on the Inner Varnika team this year.. He's now on to bigger and better things in Paris, no one can stop him!

Welcoming Zara to Passing Notes episode 178. Having recently shifted geographical gears from the nation’s capital to the capital of dance, Zara’s suite of musical engagements in the form of original productions, DJing and label curation (Kinesis records) are fast taking shape and turning heads. Following two impressive singles on Phenomena and Pure Space, Zara celebrates the release of her outstanding debut EP on the now-Berlin based Salt Mines record label. Gliding gracefully into her place in the production world, Zara’s debut EP titled ‘Di Plastica’ combines the basslines of contemporary drum and bass, the driving percussion of deep ambient techno and the psychedelic sprinkles of 90s trance. Drawing from a range of influences, Zara has quickly established her own boundness sound which boasts her undeniable unfettered creativity. Her approach to DJing and mix-making further highlight her creativity and penchant for drawing out expressive qualities in music. Social Machine – Late Night Call (Original Mix)

We're honoured to be showcasing the brainchild of Will Holden and Julien Huynh; Hybrid Man.

They have been cutting their teeth in the last year or two with their carefully crafted live show. Built on a heavy rig of hardware and a seemingly endless supply of FX, it's a unique experience each and every performance.

Having recently celebrated the release of their debut EP "Lyrebird", via local imprint Paper-Cuts, the pair have also engaged audiences with a string of live performances in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra for the likes of XOXO, Lucid, R.A, Heavenly, Sideway and also MESS for International Synthesizer Day, which was streamed via Skylab.

With a fresh set of screws they recorded their brilliant and otherworldly new live set on September 28th at Radar, Melbourne, with Espace Noir.
