this is a song I wrote right after the big quake in LA on Jan 17, 1994 and then 1995 during the OJ Simpson trials in the news everyday plus I had an orange tree growing in my backyard - hence the 1st verse lyric...........I performed

this is the demo  for The Beatles classic for my band Private Parts CD - the band track without vocals was recorded live at an afternoon soundcheck at a bar called Brother's Tavern in Aggieville - Manhattan, KS in the mid-80s when both The Beatles and The Police ruled the earth....

When The Rain demo

this is one of the very first sketches I wrote and recorded at the Plaza Hotel in New York City for a song that evolved into the title track for Chicago's SOS project. This was 1989 while on tour with Chicago/Beach Boys - just one of several sketches and there are more that are not so sluggish and sloppy - it's all played on a Kawai PH50 - a portable battery operated synth - 4 years later it became the title track after I wrote lyrics, a bridge, an intro and outro.

This was written and recorded for a Janis Liebhart solo project during the time when Night Ranger hit the airwaves. In fact Janis and writer Jesse Harms grew up around Night Ranger as they're all from the Bay area/Alameda area. Yes, it's incredibly dated in an early '80s way - so please be gentle. Janis went on to work with The Moody Blues, Michael Bolton, Ringo Starr & a ton of others. Jesse spent time with Sammy Hagar & Eddie Money. Matt Sorum went on to The Cult, Guns N Roses Velvet Revolver and a few months after this session I joined Bob Seger's band. 

Janis sings her booty of beauty off on this track and Matt kicks it in real time....(No Drum Machines or Auto-Tune)

aside from K-Mart - Krispy Kreme and the Kardashian klan, there's that "other" outfit known for the letter K......this was written and recorded back in 1996 during a streak of church burnings down South - it's a naive lyric on racism with sarcasm since we all know there will be no gentle breeze blowing in Armageddon - db provides all music - lyrics - instruments - voices with Lauren Scheff on bass - the audio is way below distorted crappy LO-FI so apologies for that - a very rough quick demo that has yet to be recorded correctly.
