Antiestratigráfica, 2021

Ainda em processo, Antiestratigráfica é um estudo das possibilidades de composição realizadas a partir do material sonoro presente no desfazimento de peças de barro cruas. As peças são feitas a partir do molde de cabeças, cotovelos e joelhos de mulheres negras, seguindo técnicas ancestrais de modelagem cerâmica e confecção de vasos assoviantes característicos do território de Abya Yala. Uma vez confeccionadas, as peças são expostas a sucessivas deposições de água em seu corpo. O gesto compositivo do trabalho consiste em procurar aí, nessa experiência, ligações entre ritmo, terra, ressonâncias, erosão/decomposição, sedimentação e escrita.

Projeto desenvolvido com tutoria de Raquel Stolf na Residência Artística do II Encontro Latino Americano de Arte Sonora - SomaRumor, 2021.

La Fabiola is music made to accompany Adan Paredes’ sculpture of the same name. His sculpture is born from an old canoe found stranded on a beach in Oaxaca, Mexico. The poetry of the ancient wood formed by human hands coming out of the depth of the sea to breathe air under the sun once more is met by the waves of music created with the sounds of an old French music box.

La Fabiola es música hecha para acompañar la barca Fabiola. Esta es una barca llena de luz y sonidos de mar y de vidrio, de azul intenso, de aire y fuego que el Maestro mexicano Adán Paredes convirtió en un animal que sale de lo más profundo del mar de Oaxaca a respirar a la superficie sobre un mar efervescente. Los sonidos de Fabiola salen de una cajita musical francesa antigua, y se convierten en medusas, en olas, en corrientes, en atardeceres, en agua dorada, en aire, en fuego.

„Vorher dachte ich, dass ich keinen Plan von meiner Geschichte habe, keine Ahnung, wie das in meiner Familie lief. Und das heißt: Ich werde niemals wissen, wer ich denn nun eigentlich bin. Aber dann habe ich mich entspannt. Ich kann einfach eine Geschichte übernehmen, die ich höre. Wir müssen uns klar machen, dass die Ära der Überlieferung vorbei ist. Wir müssen unsere eigenen Geschichten erfinden.“

RWANDAN RECORDS ist begehbares Musiktheater, in dem Geschichten aus der präkolonialen Zeit Ruandas auf die Gegenwart treffen. Zwischen grandiosen Visionen und Sehnsüchten nach sich verflüchtigenden Traditionen eröffnen Kipfmüller/Dietrich zusammen mit dem ruandischen Spoken Word Künstler Eric 1key und dem Berliner Komponisten Klaus Janek die „Rwandan Records“: Tonstudio, Record Label, Bar und Archiv der persönlichen Erinnerungen. Die Musik bewegt sich zwischen den verschiedenen Zeiten und Welten, zwischen traditionellen Songs, Live-Sampling und elektronischen Klängen. Eine junge Generation aus Ruanda erzählt von den großen Sprüngen in die Zukunft und dem Bedürfnis, die Vergangenheit neu zu entdecken.

Callyope is a Belgian & French artist, she works with music to create paradoxical feelings with hybrid sounds, to tell stories with progressions inspired by life's changing emotions. Her work could be represented as tree-like structure in which several threads of opposing thoughts coexist, all linked to each other. She’s also co-founder of @psykocats, a crew that has been organizing psychedelic parties in the south-west France for the past five years.
This podcast is like a vise that tightens, like the year 2020 which was full of unpleasant feelings, where keeping a note of hope in the midst of chaos has sometimes been very difficult. It's an experiment on how to express your emotions when everything is falling apart around you, a therapy by music in continuity with her last mixes.
