In the year 2014 where I discovered mantras and medicine song music, I had just came to a great pause after a 14year Dj career!

Back then I thought that was the worst thing that happened to my career but looking it with today's eyes, it was one of the turning points of my sonic exploration that allowed me to encounter with the concept of "deep listening" and fed my musical library with new jewels!

The sounds and melodies that I discovered while searching these new - to my ears - genres were captivating and were taking me into a journey rather different from what I knew thus far.

I always had this ability to listen to a song, hear a melody and imagine what could be added or how it could be if there was an unplugged or dance version.

One day I bumped up on this special mantra and I knew I had to touch it!

During those days I was living in Sao Paulo and my entourage of artists was still fresh and hot with talented people.
So I rang to a friend and electronic music producer and it all happened in one afternoon!

It was a rather unusual music approach for both of us as we were coming from the dance floors so we tried to find ways to combine both, yet keep the essence of the original instrumentation that was so fulfilling.

So here it is... a "blast from the past" and a dance version of the mantra Ek Ong Kaar (Destiny) from the renowned singer Snatam Kaur made with excitement, love and care to bring harmony to the dance floors and movement to the body!

NEW MOON VIBES SOUND CEREMONY captures one of the live recordings of these monthly offerings I've been making for some time now. These are gatherings that also include the use of Cacao Medicine which is engaged before then unfolding into a completely channeled session of healing sounds and sacred music.

In this very special live recording, I am joined by the brilliant Patrick O'Reilly who shared his mystical guitar and ambient soundscapes. I am also joined by the incredible voice of Jessie Oliver-Laird. Together, we wove something deep and beautiful that I believe will be felt by many.

This is the perfect music to dive into for deep meditation, healing and mystical inspiration. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did creating it.

“Essência” is a magical journey through the (sound) landscapes of Peru, Colombia, Chile, Guatemala, Austria and Portugal. Sounds of pure nature recorded in different places of the earth. In those sanctuaries, from my inner silence, an empty space is created within me to receive and give birth. Being at service to the essence and translating it into music. Serving as an instrument I transmit through my voice, my words, and the different instruments that I play. Being connected with everything, disappearing, like a bridge joining the bodies of sound and silence.”
