sometimes in the middle of nowhere you find yourself…

It was an honor for me to play to the wedding of Megan and David at the POD, two good burner friends. The POD is an amazing place in the middle of the desert of Karoo. Here is my 2h30 set performed on the 23rd April 2022.

Spare Room Volume Ten brings us a special mix from Menachem 26 out of Istanbul, Turkey.

He has shared with us a few words about his project and the mix:

For decades i have been looking to a way to express myself and finding the roots of my family and by learning and experiencing throughout these decades i have found a way and formed this project Menachem 26 as a tribute to my grandfather and did my best to blend our tastes in one pot.

In this mix i wanted touch to my recent favorite tracks and wanted to give a clubby feeling since we have been missing it for almost a year time. And i included tracks that influences and drives me recently such as Arutani, Iorie, dear friend and label boss Coss, Dandara and did included my two latest originals "Kumkapi Blues" and "Mitzpe Ramon" and also included the latest banger from my label @ladinoromance, "Sand Giants" by Thousand Fingers. And last but not least wanted to finish the set with one of my favorite Aussie artist "The Oddness"

But mainly of course the energetic setting and "groove" was the main thing that i did build the set around.
