My story is similar to yours in that I'm quite happy to self-isolate as I pretty much do that most of the time anyway and like my own company, so things are fine. Beautiful and contemplative sound for this long moment. I'm glad to hear you are doing OK. I, myself, am an introvert, but one who oddly enough seems to need contact with others. I am also finding my exile from my peculiar work challenging. But I am so glad to hear you sounding quite adaptable! And I look forward to more music from you any time!

i just listened to both sets of the Time Machine Chronicles on Bandcamp! Super enjoyable listen! Definitely reminds me a bit of the Olivia Tremor Control. A total delight man! Glad you are doing well and making music and making possible future live performance plans! Also excited to hear you may be making something new with Micah! You rock dude!!!

I am fine, the problem as I see it is everybody is so focused on putting their frustrations/good wishes/gallows humor out there that they're neglecting to listen to or acknowledge what their fellow Cloudizens are saying! Glad you're OK!

Alright. This is probably a long one. Apologies. I'm checking in. I looked through a few friends' profiles, and I saw some activity, which is great. But I can't check everyone - in complete honesty, the "stream" is an inoperable clutter for me anymore.  So I'm going a bit more direct. 

Currently, we're all good on my end. All healthy. I don't know if you all are like me, but this "social distancing" isn't anything for me at all. Avoiding going out and interacting with people is kind of my primary mode of operation at all times, and I absolutely never get bored. I'm not going to paint you with the same brush, but seriously, musicians are more or less all about self-entertainment, right?

I know everyone probably has a bajillion things going on, and I don't expect to get any messages per se - if you see this, just know that I hope you all are safe and well, and as little as it may mean, you're in my thoughts. (just because it's a corny and ineffective statement doesn't decrease its truth!) I have a tendency to be a bit pessimistic, but the thing that keeps coming back to me is how much more difficult this whole thing would have been - from a technology standpoint - even 10 years ago. That's kind of amazing. 

One major change I have personally noticed, in having a house full of family at all times, is that it's a bit challenging to holler at a microphone. Got Legos clicking and falling in the background, youtube videos, laundry, dishes, etc. So I've primarily been working on mixing and editing stuff I already had recorded. 

In this area, you guys are already a little ahead of the curve. I wrote a new story, and it goes along with not only several albums, but also with several different projects. (Comic friends: it's a crossover!!) It's called Time Machine Chronicles, and it's looking like it'll be about 12 story sections, in varying lengths. You have already heard at least two, but I'm bandcamping the rest as I get them tidied and trimmed up.

I have been working also on new tunes for Letterpress Mighty with Micah, and new tunes for Ruphord with Austin. Funny enough, I had been considering starting to play shows again - that's not happening for a while! We'll just wait it out, and see what happens!
