Born in Toronto with Iranian roots, ARJ (IR) is an emerging DJ and producer blending progressive and organic house with subtle Middle Eastern textures. Growing up surrounded by house and electronic music, ARJ’s musical foundation was shaped by both traditional Persian sounds and the pulse of global electronic music. Now making waves in Toronto’s underground scene, he continues to refine his artistry through local sets and studio releases that resonate with a growing, passionate audience. Inspired by the likes of Hernan Cattáneo, Sebastien Leger, Guy J, John Cosani and more, his sound bridges cultural influences with a deep, emotive energy.
