Peninsula with a guest appearance by Joshua Carns symbolises perfect connection with nature. Ambient textures combined with sublime guitar create a very eclectic mixture of Downtempo and Fusion. Directly inspired by the unique character of Icelandic landscapes, it brings peace and tranquillity. The perfect balance between electronic and organic. Close your eyes and drift away...

My music has always been about blending the organic and the electronic, balancing nature and technology. I wanted a visual representation to reflect that philosophy, to go along with the music and channel the feeling of Iceland.
Over the past month, I've been experimenting with this a little more. I trained a series of artificial neural network models (specifically generative adversarial networks) on hundreds of thousands of images from Iceland and then used the trained models to generate videos.
These are basically machine hallucinations - none of these places/images actually exist. The neural network is trying to create its own version of something that looks similar to the original dataset it learned from but is unique.
