Ghost Miner - Media Rituals EP

a rather mess of a track I made tonight as a memorial to Nevada Hill. He loved harsh noise and was very creative with ideas to make it. I sampled most of these sounds from myself making noise with instruments, cymbals, voice, all altered. The violin is channeling Nevada. When I first met him I remember his violin noise and enthusiasm for pushing the envelope. It's a rather dark piece, something I would think he might really like.

In Episode 13 of WRAPPED IN PODCAST: TWIN PEAKS SEASON 3, J.R. has thoughts about Swan Lake and the Flying Dutchman, Jeff has some thoughts about the Evolution of Dougie Jones, Kyle thinks that things are really coming together and the robins are starting to appear, and Ken is probably trying to kill us.

Linear B is a duo of Sultan M (Michael Chamy) and Nick Cabrera. Linear B creates dark ambient mindscapes with a visceral whisper of proto-industrial dread. Both creators also played in the larger improvised avant-garde project Zanzibar Snails, led by Michael Chamy and the late Nevada Hill, active in the Texas underground since 2007. Cabrera also performs in or as Small Talk, Carbon & Water and Ascites, and both are occasional members of The Watchers.
