a collection of unreleased gems that never made it to vinyl. eon were super productive back then and not everything could get a release. the odd questionable vocal sample thrown over some beats (176/180 bpm... phew!), some twisted wobbly b-lines, some techno/rave stabs, bips & boops and other quirky stuff! made mostly in reason 5 apart from one created with a legendary roland w30. FIRST OF THREE ALBUMS!

Genres begin to blur with this brilliant EP by UK producer Loomis. “Proteus” immerses the listener in a soundtrack for an imaginary film as breakbeats fade in and out of the distant horizon. Drums are dotted across the landscape of the title track as elements of ambient and synthwave coalesce around drum & bass rhythms. “Amber Dawn” ups the energy with its halftime drum patterns, while “Abacus” slows things down into full-on ambient synth territory. The EP closes with a gorgeous autonomic rework of “Blurred Horizon” by Akuratyde.

Blurred Horizon EP is available on all digital & streaming platforms March 19th.
