First taking interest as a sound enthusiast, Montreal's Jean-Patrice Remillard began exploring electronic music in earnest by the early 1990s, teaching himself how to produce and manipulate sounds with software and hardware. Pheek now finds himself releasing amongst his idols for such renowned labels as Richie Hawtin's M_NUS, France's Telegraph, Denmark's Tic Tac Toe or Germany's Contexterrior, gaining particular recognition for the unique quality and texture of his sounds. Nourished by his experiences and hoping to construct his own community of likeminded musicians, Pheek founded the Archipel Musique Canada netlabel in 2004 that is now firmly ensconced in the international minimal techno and tech-house scene.

In the 11th issue of Koche podcast we represent our new label member Cantheloop. Miroslav Tanev -  @Cantheloop - constantly pursues the underground minimal and house tendencies for more than a decade. With the years of invariably changing music courses and the alteration in his personal fancy, his DJing performance evolves into a well-structured collection and satisfying control over the workflow. 

He is born in a little town in the middle of Upper Thracian Plain, Bulgaria. Later he lives and develops his passion for electronic music in the capital of his motherland - Sofia. Since 2015 he is based in Berlin, Germany. There he gets totally involved in the minimal, house and tech-house circles. Therefore he expands his arrangement of skills through the deep dive into the world of producing. The children of his imagination start to achieve form and to live their own lives in the enormous family of electronic dance music.

Alessandro Crimi returns to Etui Records with his Wandering EP. The release includes 2 original tracks by the Swiss artist and 2 remixes by Federsen and Insect O.

The EP starts with the title track Wandering. Beautiful layered pad sounds and spacious percussion giving you the feeling of wandering around in a meadow. With some punchy drums San Francisco dub techno master Federsen turned the track into a dub heavy groover.

The flip side starts with the mystic sounds of Jericho. Be prepared for some bass heavy vibes layered underneath deeply processed synth chords. For his remix Insect O. spiced up the synths with some effects and laid it on a forward pushing groove.
