Mazey is an artist that uses all of her faculties and talents to uncover and share her findings of oppressive conditions of colonialism. This EP covers the Discovery Syndrome™ theory that Mazey has been assessing over her 29 years of life from everyday interactions with white men. Why Can't You Ever Be Along was inspired by a fellow musician's imposition of Mazey's affection. If I Can't Have Me, No One Can is a play on the phrase, "If I can't have you, no one can." by critiquing common phrases and euphemisms, Mazey points out the oppressive narrative that is inherent to sexism, oppression of women and LGBTQ+ individuals, and toxic codependency - while playing a waltz for one.

Thinking About Abstraction is Mazey Moon's interpretation of revisitation. Revisitation is an idea that abstract painter Kristy Luck introduced Mazey to, through Kristy's work.
