Après le succès de leur premier EP qui a été épuisé en un mois, Cotonete revient avec leur  second vinyle (d'une serie de trois).

Constitué de membres des groupes Akalé Wubé (Ethio Jazz), Camarao Orchestra (Brésil) et le pianiste Florian Pellissier, ce nouvel EP contient le titre "Earth overshoot day" ainsi que des remixes par Hugo LX, Vox Low et Patrice Scott.

Comme son premier volet le disque sera disponible dans un packaging vinyle Deluxe (Pochette et OBI japonais, vinyle 180g) et en édition limitée à 500 exemplaires, en collaboration avec le disquaire parisien, habitué des ondes du Mellotron, Heartbeat vinyl.

Aujourd'hui on vous propose de découvrir en exclusivité le remix de Hugo LX, résolument taillé pour les dancefloors, avant sa sortie digitale officielle le 28 juillet.

New York newcomer @samruffillo has impressed us recently with his jazzy deep house stylings, channeling Theo Parrish and the like in his sumptuous productions (check his IRMA Dancefloor EP for instance). This new remix for @casserecords continues the theme, with sweet synth melodies soaring above the loose groove of synth/boogie funk and chunky low end bump.

There is a new scene of bands that mix dance grooves with Hip Hop, Funk and disco. Toro Y Moi, Sault, Kaytranada, Parcels, The Internet…  Also New York’s Phenomenal Handclap band is part of that circle.
Their new song SKYLINE is a pre-release single of their upcoming album. (Album out in april on Toy Tonics). 
The track mixes mid tempo disco with old school funk and balearic vibes. Very appealing to the new, young disco & house audience. The band had a couple of club hits last year with their other 3 singles on Toy Tonics. DJ’s like Harvey, Disclosure, Gilles Peterson, Artwork, Busy P, Danny Krivit and even Gerd Janson and KeineMusik supporting them. BBC Radio 1 featured their last single. This new success made them a lot of new fans.. and this song could increase their momentum even more. Release PHB LP: 15.05.2020 (digital + vinyl)
