Mazzy please you’re making the family cry again

I’m talking to this guy, but truthfully, I don’t feel anything toward him. Whenever I share a song I love, he calls it “mid,” and every time he does, my mind drifts back to my old talking stage. I’m not even sure what we really were, but the bond we shared was the best thing that ever happened to me. Our music taste was the same, our connection effortless—I just know he would’ve loved this song. I miss that bond so much, yet I had to let him go because I could feel he didn’t see me the same way anymore. In a way, it’s a relief—I finally let go of what was holding me back, and I’m proud of myself for that. But it’s also bittersweet, because every guy I meet now feels the same, and we have nothing in common. None of them spark what he once did. I know I’ll never meet anyone exactly like him. Maybe I’ll find someone new, but it will never be the same. What we had was rare, and no matter what, I’ll always remember how beautifully we bonded.
