Harvey’s highly anticipated single starts with the title track ‘Lost’ that comprises of a catchy vocal hook and rhythmic synth stabs to set the mood. This is layered over a straight, serious beat that has lots of energy and grit to make any speaker stack shake. ‘Find My Mind’ uses a mixture of reversed and straight hats to create a funky groove that is sprinkled with hypnotic synth stabs and a mesmerising vocal. ‘Hard To See’ uses a funky sub bass in combination with some swinging drums to create a groove that will rattle the speakers and bring the house down.

<p>The YellowHeads make their phobiq debut with a whopping four tracks and get right to the point with the cavernous &#8220;Abbey&#8221; where melancholic chords lead the way and diva vocals are interspersed in great style. On &#8220;Give Me A Chance&#8221;, we are introduced to a modulated riff and streamlined synths in the background, while rocksteady drums provide the intense momentum. Then it&#8217;s time for some heads-down action with &#8220;Tyson&#8221;, which lets a stomping kick lead the way to a synth-led breakdown and features vocal snippets directly related to the title. Closing up, the boys hit hard with &#8220;Back To School&#8221;, a more dubbed-out affair with loopy sensibilities and big, old-school (pun intended) chords.</p>

The Yellowhead – Encounters

Our Yellowhead label leaders showcase their constant evolution with their brand new single 'Encounters', kicking things off with unmistakeable, mutating stabs interwined with haunting backround synths. The Manic Brothers pick up from there with their own interpretation, employing  a steamrolling rhythm section, perfectly laced with vindictive synths! For the closer, Horacio Cruz introduces even more chord action, but brings in a rumbling bass for low-end goodness, while following the original's snappy groove and cavernous vibe.

Gregor Tresher wraps up another remarkable year in the techno fast lane with a brand new label: GTO. It stands for Gregor Tresher Originals and the emphasis is on the word original as he continues to carve his own unique furrow in a brand new way. Investing everything hes achieved and explored across some of the greatest labels in techno from Drumcode to Cocoon, Music Man to Ovum, Moon Harbour to Bedrock, plus 60 releases on his own Break New Soil imprint, its time to freshen things up once again. Its time to get acquainted with GTO And it starts with another superb collaboration with long time friend and collaborator Petar Dundov. 

Stellarius and Anthropogenic show Gregor and Petar at their most energetic, forward-thinking and enthused. The former is a pacey drive into the unknown with layered synths weaving in and out of perspective to hypnotic effect while the latter shows a darker side to the duo as harmonic bass textures rumble with a rich loin-girding sinister feel and a carnal funk that springs off the off-beat hi-hats. Gregor explains the inspiration behind both compositions "Stellarius to me, is the biggest and most powerful track to emerge from our recent studio sessions. From the day we made it, I knew I wanted to save it for something very special. Well, I guess the occasion is here." 

"Anthropogenic causes mayhem everywhere I play it. I would say its inspired by the music of so many young and fresh producers making their way to the big stages now with a sound that hints a time when producing techno wasnt about functionality but more about a certain vibe of creating something new and exciting."

"MB Elektronics is still one of the leading techno labels, trying to select the best tracks for each release. Our strength also lies in the time we give each release to develop. We don't release records too fast after another".  MB Elektronics has many more plans for the future. No hypes, no trends, just pure techno energy!
