Melbourne-based techno artist BERGA returns to Fuxbau Records with his debut solo EP. After setting the tone for our first Various Artists compilation with the opening track, BERGA now takes the spotlight to launch our solo release series.
The WOM EP features a beautifully crafted, sound-rich intro followed by four minimalistic yet powerful tracks, each designed to energize the dancefloor. WOM—short for "woman"—is both a statement on the underrepresentation of female producers in our still male-dominated scene and a heartfelt tribute to two of the most influential women in BERGA’s life: his partner and mother.

IR PREMIERE | BERGA - but I came from gospel [PRTL036]

This project spreads across different soundscapes exploring and building new  vibratory paths that helps us navigate through a vast web of interconnected frequencies and rhythms, creating unique and intimate spaces for dancers to take part in a sonic experience in a way that can most directly connect the body, the mind and the soul to the main source as it transforms land forms into celestial beings.

It has been a very long way since the beginning of this piece but I am very happy to have it finally released! Always thankful for all the trust and understanding from all the artists involved and every who has been supporting, lovers and protectors of this journey on the alluring coherence between sound and creation.
