 Matthew Benjamin Smith (aka MBS) is an original and diverse music producer and DJ from the United Kingdom, born 29/01/1985 in Leicester (UK). 

MBS began producing music in early 2000 inspired by the euphoric and melodic sounds of the early 90s trance era. In 2005 MBS studied a Creative Music Producer course at Leicester College, which progressed onto a Music Technology Foundation Degree at Confetti Studios (Nottingham) in 2007, graduating in 2009. 

Following many years of hard work and dedication to his music creations, MBS was welcomed his first music contract in January 2021 via Sojka Records in a collaborative EP release with artist 'Classroom' and shortly after releasing a further EP with vocalist 'Daniela Rhodes'. Following this success MBS was delighted to sign his debut solo EP with Soluna Music.

MBS is also a resident DJ for subcode.club and promotes his own and others, original and underground music of various styles. 

MBS brings you belearic, melodic, progressive and deep sounds.
