Xerophytic Soul who's name is Mbulelo Mehlomakhulu was born in 1995. Mbulelo began listening to house music at the age of 9. In 2009 he began to start his journey as a music producer. Through the process of working hard at his craft he slowly developed his unique music production style. This style is a mix of afro house, jazz, Detroit techno and deep house. Xerophythic has released his music on a number of various influential labels including DNH, Catch 22, Madison Square Records, MoBlack Records, FOMP and so forth, thus making him being recognized as an international artist as early as 20 years of age.
