Kaztet D is a versatile artist (MC, DJ, Producer, songwriter) with a long background in the french reggae/Hiphop underground scene but not only. On stage with different bands and collectives since 1999, he was part of Massawa sound system and founding member of R2G crew aka rouen2ground in France. In 2013 he settled in Asia where he became a very active DJ and promoter in the Reggae/ Bass but also in the underground electronic music scene, building Wat a Gwaan , Banana Hustle, and being part of Saigon Dub Station, and played over a thousand shows in Clubs, bars and festivals in various countries ( France, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Singapore, Thailand, Lebanon...)
Now back on the mic after 10 years recordless, he is bringing a more mature style, beetween the smoothness of reggae of the rebellious energy of Raggamuffin & Rap, and more electronic sounds playing with catchy melodies & dynamite flows and you can expect more from him very soon!

We are back with some fresh tropical edit for your summer
This time we're taking you on a proper trip to a special place and time : Gwada 1992, with reworks from two of our old school Zouk favorites!

The First track is a re-edit from Alain Malespine's retro zouk classic "Lésé woulé", released in 1992 on the legendary Label Debs music, biggest exporter of french caribean musical gems since the 1959 until today, just slightly and humbly dubbed and modernised.

Same year, same paradise island, The second edit is a rework from the sweet Zouk Love song "Trop pressyon" by Chantal Djill Rhinan, from her album "Tendress" recorded with musicians from the legendary guadeloupe band (and Zouk originator) Kassav', with honey keyboard melodies and vocal harmonies from Jean claude Naimro and Jean Paul Marthely, today slightly refreshed for 2024 dancefloors by Kazdi Koba!

We do not own the right; feel free to contact us if you want some of the tracks to be removed.

After a few migrations full of adventures that might find their place in a book one day, Kazdi Koba is back with a couple of fresh tracks for your ears and soul.

The first track "DO IT RIGHT" is a collaboration with RACK'HAM on Sax. A dancefloor killer housy break with sweet vocals, efficient bassline, funky guitar , tropical percussions and sexy strings adding a pinch of disco flavour!

The second track "TIME TO BE LOVED" is a slower electro beat with soulfull vocals and funky bassline and horns, getting slightly deeper and dirtier as the bass and drums keep pounding !

Coming from the Vinyl culture, we try to preserve part of it by releasing double singles, where the two faces of the record allows musicians a nd producers to tell a richer story!

Kaztet D - Reggae/ Jungle / World beats Selecta, MC & promoter from France, partly raised in Asia, based in Saigon/Vietnam 
Kaztet made his first live performance at the age of 18 with Slim Ting reggae Band (1999/2000), before runing Massawa Sound with Selecta Elpee from 2002 to 2007, founding member of R2G aka Rouen2ground in France (2008 / 2013 ) he is also part of the FURYBASS and LOOTAYARD Families. After years of activism and Hundreds of performances in France and abroad , he settled down in Cambodia in 2013, where he founded WAT A GWAAN ( Reggae Collective ), and YATRA Production (Bookings / events ). Also part of the Saigon Dub Station Family in Vietnam, Kaztet is now based beetween Saigon & Phnom Penh You can see him live through Cambodia and Asia
