Radar, was coined by my friends as "The rainbow to my rain" A beautifully accurate take on Dolly Parton's quote "If you want the rainbow, you've got to part with the rain"

This is your life in an audio action adventure my old friend. Because that was what we did together. I owe you every part of my success and every part of my happiness in creating all the art I have over the last 20 years. I tried my best to capture who you were to me. Is a song produced by Pat from drum n bass heavyweights State Of Mind (Blackout NL) 

He wanted me to rap the way I do without any pre conceived notions about my music. When I told him I was making this EP he told me to "Just rap like you do and not think "I am the State Of Mind MC" His track and beat is definitely a testament to how globally successful that guy really is and it really is my favorite song on the EP

The EP: "Don't Cry For Me" 

I watched an old Simpsons episode of a dark Noir film in the short film episode, it inspired me to make an EP. I decided to see if I could put my life growing up into that episode and replace Barney with myself.  Pukahontas is the film that Barney made for the Springfield Film Festival. It is a touching black-and-white film about Barney's struggle with alcoholism, and is best known for its closing tagline, "Don't cry for me, I'm already dead." It has resonated with me ever since the first time I saw it. I am from a small town on a small island on the coast of the south pacific called New Zealand. I wanted to take a direction of honesty as we have the highest stats for alcoholism, domestic violence, male youth suicide and the drink it all away is almost welcomed here. Making this was capturing me as a youth with the trauma of death I was consumed by and the way I took the "Fuck My Liver" Approach to most things in my life. Sometimes I still do this. In the final song I actually destroy my PC and throw my mic and stand out of a window. It was NOT easy looking back at how fucked up I was and it got the better of me. There is an old saying "Be careful if you chose to stare at an abyss, because the abyss stares back at you" I think that's what happened to me in making this about my life as a teenager to young man.
