Nothing Left To Fear

16hr work day before this.  Had to track the idea before it vanished.  Spent about 45 mins recording multiple guitar layers as well as the bass, drums and vocals just for the multi-track machine to crap out in the middle of an export resorting in an entire loss of work.
So...  A little bit tired, a little bit wired, and maybe a bit stoned. It took me about 45 mins to track this out again.  Not as good as the first time though...

03. At Doom's Gate

New tune called Wandering.  I think you can even hear me trip over a few things too.

I broke out the big guns and had a bit of fun.  Ibanez RG321, Hand built cool ass tube amp(I made it my self!) pair of 12AX7 preamp tubes followed up by a weighty KT88 to make around 20W of tube power, into a pair of matching serial 1957 Rola-Jensen speakers made right here in PA.  Speaker cab is heavy as fuck, made out of 3/4" MDF as a 2x12 slant.  Unique and great sounding if you ask me.  There are no filters or anything on the guitars.  Just a compressor for bass and and compressor and 4band eq for drums.

My drum kit is in total shambles.  Not much left to work with.  I used a pencil to play the snare which sat on a box next to kick drum.  Lame...

In the beginning I was all like...  
"Hello, 4-string Bass.  Meet 6-String Guitar."
And that is how its been.
But then things started to change...

6-string has always wanted to be so much like its lower tuned counterparts and didn't really like to play with some of its higher notes.  No matter how hard it tried, it simply couldn't ever go low enough.  So one day after a much needed bath, it decided to try on a set of 7-string clothes.  As it finished getting dressed, it wondered "Do I have the attitude to back this up?"

Hell yeah it did!  It sounds so fucking brutal!

Now of course, the many 4-string bass brothers were like..  "WTF dude?  Where did this come from?"
So I was all like...  "Yo, 4-strings, 6-strings, and the cross dressing 7-string wannabe, Meet 5-string!"

They all stood there.  Silent.  Staring at one-another.  They had just got done seeing what that cross-dressing 6-string freak of the family did not that long ago.
I wonder how this is gonna go down...
