This started as a "production study" in which Cole and I tried to match the drums, congas, guitars and bass to the original song as best we could. Then it ended up turning into a Toro y Moi inspired dreamy textured synth landscape. I really like how the piano turned out. Cole used Ableton's stretch tool to make the tails all glitched out. Note the well-timed Juul hit at 1:01 that serves as a nice wash of white noise ;)
