After having a fantastic 2014, ANNA is back for her first single release on Tronic of 2015. 'Abre Los Ojos' is a jacking housy techno track that includes a juicy analog melody/bassline with plenty of lfo and filter action. As usual for her tracks, crowd reactions are guaranteed! Furthermore, Tronics head honcho Christian Smith delivers a strong remix focusing on the groove and an anthemic break that is reminiscent of Kevin Saundersons earlier E-Damcer releases. The latest Saved output comes from One Records co-owner and Berlin-based artist Subb-an.
For his release Subb-an presents "This Place", a record which is deep, groovy and is laced with a very catchy vocal. Finishing off the release is label boss, Nic Fanciulli who delivers his rendition on the flipside with a very cool sharp remix featuring several of the original parts as well as the vocals and works it to great effect.
An all round great package which will be dominating dancefloors to the close of the year and well into 2012.

Soma regular Harvey McKay teams up with London based producer Saytek for the devastating Push EP. A two track, combined effort, born from successful studio sessions in London and further workings via the wonder of email! After Harvey remixed Saytek they found that elements of each others production seemed to fit seamlessly together, with Saytek's more House orientated parts adding perfectly to Harvey's tougher style.

Title track Push starts the ball rolling with Harvey's almost signature deep, rolling low end. Light vocal stabs jump in as the track begins to pick up the pace with 909 styled drums giving the track even more momentum. Synth elements help the track to straddle the boundaries between House & Techno perfectly producing a well-rounded track fit for any peak time set!

The follow up track, 'Nothing', picks up straight away as this fast paced Techno number utilises vocal loops to create a fantastic groove from the get go. Add to this a powerful background drum workout, this track will surely drive any PA big enough to handle it.

This set was recorded on my first trip to South Africa, where I performed at a festival and a free show in Soweto alongside local artists Vinny da Vinci , Dj Fresh, Euphonik, Culoe de Song and LSG. All tour dates were partnered with non-profit organisation Bridges for Music. The aim was to use music to break down socio-economic boundaries bringing people from different communities together . 'DE9 Fragments' is a series of fragmented audio edits based upon my live DJ set recordings. Each one will attempt to capture the feeling and direction of the night, giving those who were there a reminder of the events they experienced while giving those who were not present a fragmented distortion of what they missed.
