Brandon Cribbs known in the entertainment industry as, “McBuddy” is a very talented artist who has a mixed listening audience due to his versatile rap, hip-hop, and R&B style. He is a native of Chicago, Illinois, and has spent the majority of his life with his family in the “Windy City.” McBuddy received his formal education in the public school system for the greater Chicago metropolitan area. He comes from a family possessing several members who are in the entertainment industry. These family members played a major role in his career decisions. The influence of professionals in the entertainment industry made a significant impact on the life of McBuddy. From the time he was approximately five years old, McBuddy has been totally consumed with music. This passion was acquired as a result of listening to music mixed by his uncles who were then serving as professional Disc Jockeys (DJs) throughout the Midwest. At the age of eleven, McBuddy commenced his career in music. His genre of choice is Rap and Hip Hop having commenced his music career while a student in his early primary grades of school, McBuddy was recognized as a student with incredible talent in songwriting and performing as a recording artist. Today, he is regarded throughout the industry as an outstanding performer as well as an incredibly gifted songwriter. McBuddy signed an Exclusive Recording Agreement (ERA) with Nuttyboyz Entertainment Group, Inc. in 2006, and, in January 2007, he signed a Songwriter’s Agreement. Despite the unfortunate ending of his venture with Nutty Boy entertainment he didn't lose his passion for his first love...Music. He went on to establish Star Quality Entertainment and he is the C.E.O. He has worked with many major artists such as Static Major, TQ, and Rudy and he recently released a mix tape with featured artists entitled "Certified" in February of 2013. Also, he is currently working on an album "There Goes the Neighborhood”. As a determined and motivated Mcbuddy continues his musical journey he brings more confidence and a great sound for the Rap, R&B, and Hip-Hop audience.
