The original melody of "Destiny's Door" first appears in the contrabassoon, functioning as the bass line, respectively. It then becomes the main theme itself and later appears as a variation in the cellos, functioning as a counter melody.
I used the Trumpet, Strings and Percussion stems.

I reharmonized the original theme and used it as a soloistic bass introduction to this piece. The second part merges Western and Middle-Eastern musical influences.

I used one vocoder on the voice stem but NO additional synthesizers or samples were used, it's all audio manipulation. The original melody appears several times throughout the track as well.

stEmina (Bleeding Fingers Contest)

My fourth submission. In this one, I focused on the main rhythmic motif from "Destiny's Door", re-interpreting it metrically, as well as on reversing all sorts of things.
For instance, the main melody here is the original melody in retrograde.
The sounds accompanying the piano in the beginning and end are made using the Woodwinds stem.
In the middle section, I used sort of a "horizontal" approach to hybrid orchestration, essentially switching between orchestra and synthesizers (as opposed to layering them).
I used the Woodwinds, Percussion, Choir, Brass and Voice stems.

Irreversible (Bleeding Fingers Contest)

My sixth submission. I used mainly the Percussion stem but not in the "traditional" way. I manipulated it to create a harpsichord-type of sound and used it to play a fugue that is based on both, the Flute motif and parts of the original main theme of Destiny's Door. The last section quotes the main theme in variation again.
I used the Percussion stem, the Woodwind stem (for the chords and accents in the first half), the Strings stem, the Brass stem, the PBH stem, the Choir stem, and the Trumpet stem.
