MC Dopeski a.k.a. "Shoesnewz" a.k.a. "Luke Cage" a.k.a. "Pretty Boy Swift" a.k.a. "T.D.O. was raised in the East London ghetto of Hackney where he still resides and is one of the many youths who grew up listening to Hip Hop culture in the late seventies when it all began!! A bodypopping street dancer... "affiliated with the crew Breakeasy" from way back in the day, Dopeski spent much of his childhood days (mid 70s to the late 80s) practising his craft in Central London subways stations such as Charing Cross and Covent Garden along with his crew. He got into the rap game by winning rap competitions on "Sunrise radio" and also on a pirate rap radio station called "City Radio" hosted by the Witch Doctor of Boogie in the early 90's.The competition's first prize was a recording deal with the ill-fated GTI Records which was to fold unexpectedly. MC Dopeski's latest collection of tracks is entitled "Da Ghetto"
