Louise - Bounce Back (Unreleased)

I recently discovered that the production instrumental of Amelia Lily's unreleased song "Man Behind The Mask" was passed onto XFactor winner Sam Bailey for her second album "Sing My Heart Out". The new track is called "Sun Above The Clouds" and has a completely different tune/lyrics over the backing track. You can hear that the backing is exactly the same as Amelia's except for it being pitched up a tone and the different melody/lyrics. 

I checked out the booklet of Sam's album and it says it was produced & written with Ben Adams (from boyband A1). I can only presume that the track was a demo he'd done and Amelia was a session vocalist. Who knows... interesting never-the-less.

Steps new single "Scared Of The Dark" is an AMAZING. Pop salvage for our charts. Alot of us fans including myself felt the order/flow of the sections was a little off. The final chorus didn't feel big enough, so here's my little edit.

After the second chorus there was a slight instrumental section before the middle 8. I cut this and added it to the end of the last chorus to give it a better sounding ending. Unfortunately the key change caused that section to get a bit munchkin-ey (even though I'd selected to preserve the pitch). Shame as I feel this flows alot better. Anyway it gives an idea. Contact me if anyone remakes this but better :)

A montage of the original demo clips that leaked of Disconnect by Clean Bandit (Feat. Marina & The Diamonds). The band reported there were over 30 versions of the song. The original early versions were more disco (featuring Nile Rogers style basswork) and was later performed live at Glastonbury. 2 years later the track was finally released with very different production :( Personally I prefer the disco to the dancey version.

Jack elaborated on a potential timeline for the song: "It’s like maybe 30 different versions of it on my laptop. I think we’ve finished one, actually - I was working on it on the way [to New York] on the plane, so I think we’re going to have a nice surprise for them soon."

Jessica Simpson recently played a clip of a new track on a US chat show. The album is finished and she confirmed she will be self-releasing it herself. She's concentrating on real instruments and hinted at an acoustic/country-esque sound. Fingers crossed the album comes!!
