I know, I know, not all the tracks in here are in ambient genre but the name of the playlist would make that rather obvious, now wouldn't it?

For our May 2022 edition of our 'Unmasked' mix series, we have Jan Wortmann aka HighThere, Jan first discovered Drum'n'Bass at age 14 and began DJing at age 18. After first bookings in southern Germany, the BassKultur crew around Danielson became aware of HighThere. Regular bookings followed. In 2013 Jan became resident of the Ulm party series Bassportation and began to shape his sound. Through national and international contacts, gigs across Germany and some international bookings like in Prague or Paris followed.
HighThere stands for uncompromising mixing, exciting combinations and 100% drum'n'bass. His sets are composed of all subgenres and so it never gets monotonous. For about one and a half years, the Berlin native has decided to express his love for music with his own productions. With releases on Empire Recordings, Darkside Records or on his own label Banana Bass Musik. HighThere has already caused a stir internationally. Keep your eye out for him in future!
