I've had people encouraging me to get into voiceovers my entire life. "You sound like you could do a movie trailer!"

I'm one of those people who can read a page of text in one take, if I put on a bit of a "radio announcer voice". I can annunciate clearly and have a deep low tone when recorded properly. I'm comfortable with public speaking. 

It all came with practise. Over the years, I've been a real radio DJ (during university, late at night, for free), as well as a game industry public speaker (giving keynote speeches for events like game jams and academic conference presentations). 

I also created www.onegameamonth.com which features a monthly keynote speech, so I have a wide body of work available if you'd like to see what my voice sounds like.

I'd like to offer VOICEOVER services to my peer game developers.

I can handle a wide range of badguys, generals, narrators, and radio voices. I could probably make a decent game trailer. I have a good microphone and tons of recording studio experience. I've written 40 videogames and books on gamedev, and I know game development very, very well. I know how to make movies, and have written tons of songs.

You're laughing, tears are streaming down your cheeks, the weight of a thousand worlds lifts off your shoulders and every little problem in life seems so insignificant you just have to dance. A celebration of life based on my private experiences. =)

Even in light of it's brevity and lack of polish, I really had fun experimenting with this composition in Sony Acid Music Studio on and off over the course of the summer holidays just for fun.

Dot Product

A quick warmup song for #FAWM as I get my gear tuned up and plugged in for the first time in my brand new studio. It's a chunky metal riff experiment, recorded in a single sitting, with no production, editing or mastering, just happily strumming with only half the strings on my guitar, a song not worthy of anyone's ears.

One day I decided to improvise on a simple chord progression and a metronome... the stars were aligned and I performed this entire unedited guitar solo on the first and only take. 

So I quick found a beat and recorded a bassline and called it a song, from scratch to published in under an hour!

Haven't played guitar like this in a LONG TIME. It was so much fun.

"Towers" is an instrumental heavy metal song (inspired by oldschool thrash such as Metallica and Megadeth) made for Towers of Space, a videogame currently in production at http://gamkedo.club game development club.

I played the guitar parts on my Hamer XT Sunburst Q/T electric guitar going through a Yamaha REX50 effects processor and into my PC with Sony Acid Music Studio 9.0.
