Uplifted PM Remix v3 ST

Mixed Entirely in Pro Tools 10.

Here is a detailed breakdown of the mix:

Kit:
The 3 channels given to us for the kit were first sub mixed into a stereo bus.  This stereo bus has a Puigtec EQP-1A plugin with a broad 10k boost of about 2db on the whole kit.  After that is an API 2500 for the drum buss compression, not generally compressing more than 2-4db.  Finally, I added an L3-LL to gain up the kit a bit with a little soft limiting.

Both the kick and snare close miss were EQ'd and compressed with the SSL E-Channel from Waves.  The kick had a little additional EQ with an RE2 to notch out a couple nodes that I heard.  The kick was also triggering a Steven Slate Trigger sample, which was blended in about 10db below the kick close mic.  The overheads were EQ'd with an SSL E EQ and then compressed with the Softube Valley People Dynamite compressor.  I also trimmed back the left side of the Overheads because I felt the snare sat a little to the left in the overhead's image.  The snare close and overhead mics were then sent to an IR1 convolution of Schnee Studios that was filtered below 125 and shelved up about 4 db above 3.6k to give them a roomier feel.

Bass:
I only used the Bass Amp mic and ditched the DI.  The amp mic was EQ'd with an API 550B for a little clarity.  I then compressed the bass with a Puigchild 660.  No additional reverb or effects were used on the Bass.

Guitar:
The Guitar was EQ'd with an API 550A and then compressed a bit with a CLA-3A.  The guitar was given a short plate and a very short stereo delay to give it a little width and set it into a new space.  I used the Lexicon PCM96 Plate plugin and a Waves Supertap for the Delay.

Vocal:
The vocal was EQ'd with an API 550B and compressed with a CLA-76.  I automated the input to the CLA during the choruses to make sure the vocal compression didn't get overdone.  Many level rides were made on the vocal throughout to make sure the vocal translated through the mix.  Vibrato ring offs and other non lyrical vocal sounds were accentuated to bring all the vocal nuances around the lyrics to the forefront.  The vocal was sent to a short Lexicon Small Random Hall to give her a unique space from the guitar and drums.  

Tambourine:
The tamb that the vocalist plays towards the end of the song was copied to a new track that had a 100% wet long Valhalla Room reverb to really set the tamb back and give it some extra ring and I just thought it sounded cool.

2Mix:
The 2Mix was slightly compressed (not more than 2 or 3db of gain reduction) with a Cytomic Glue before hitting an L3 Multimaxer for a little limiting to bring the level up the mix very slightly.
