A quick clip from an interview that I recorded with Alvin Stardust for a show we were promoting. I've posted this after hearing of the sad news of Alvin passing away on 23rd of October 2014. One of many times I'd spoken to him and this gives a glimpse of how much of a great sense of humour this guy had.

Alvin Stardust Interview

Recorded at the Lyric Theatre in Belfast on St. Patricks eve 2015 Francis McPeake, the fourth, talks extensively to Scottish broadcaster Derek McIntyre about his families four generations of traditional Irish musicians. The band are widely acclaimed and have influenced the likes of Bob Dylan, Van Morrison and The Beatles as well as being the family that originally penned the song Wild Mountain Thyme. Francis talks about the new McPeake band and his time growing up in Belfast and the history of the McPeake family over the four generations.
The interview also contains tracks recorded during the live performance at the Lyric theatre including a rendition from Francis McPeake, the third, who joined the band on stage to perform a song.
