The name probably gives it away, however Dj AssAssin is not just a Dj; he is a music producer based in London England.
The Real name of the man behind such a powerful & descriptive stage name is Mckane Simmons.
Mckane was born on 28th of November 1982 on a small Caribbean island called Carriacou; sister island to Grenada. Though smaller than Grenada, it is the largest of the grenadines.
Mckane spent most of his childhood days between Grenada where his mother was born, carriacou Where his Father was born & the UK where his parents migrated to as they loved travelling.
Mckane’s musical passion started early. He was largely influenced by his older brother who use to Build his own speaker boxes & string up his sound system at the time.
At the age of around 13-14 Mckane acquired a second-hand belt driven turntable & one 12” vinal record; and this was the start to something great. Mckane precticed on the deck for hours, learmning how to scratch as he only had 1 turntable.
In 2008 Mckane moved back to the UK to live with his mother & step father, where he completed his secondary school education.
Mckane went on to completing an engineering arrpentaship, however music was always in his plan.
Mckane purchased decks, mixer, sampler & speakers and became a regular customer at the UK’s Famous Dub Vender record store located in Ladbrook Grove In West London; which at the time was ran by popular soundmen Redman & pappa face.
Mckane Mastered his craft as a Dj, & at this point he became Dj AssAssin.
The name Dj Assassin weas chosen as Mckane was born into the into sound clash era; and your name was very important as it represented you.
Dj Assassin secured a regular slot on a popular community radio station called Cruise FM, which was located in West London; Shepherds bush to be exact. Cruise FM was owned & managed by well-known local Dj called Dj Village who’s life was sadly taken.
As life progressed Dj Assassin, slowly became more involved in music production & less DJing.
Dj AssAssin became friends with Reggae / Dancehall artist Gappy Ranks, Redman & other affiliated artist who lived in North West London as he would go to the studio with them & cut dub plates.
Fast Forward Dj Assassin still maintaining the love for music, & became friends, with popular Reggae / Dancehall Artist Stylo G. The friendship started when Stylo G recorded on Dj Assassin’s Back 2 School Riddim released in 2013, song entitled “Bad Santa”.
Dj Assassin is now widely known as Bad Santa, because of this song.  
Dj Assassin Runs his own Record Label “DAM Records” and have released various single & various artist albums all available on digital streaming platforms.
