Royksopp - 49 Percent (McLaz & Kovich Remix)

A 9 minute reminder that music is in fact an art. Unfortunately our charts and ears are filled with mass produced 'tracks' with 'popular' rappers and vocalists and yes, I know that these 'songs' have a purpose as they do make young, drunk, teenage girls sing and jump around with there VK's in the clubs however this is not what this is.This is not about record labels, getting signed or being recognised. This is a track to listen to, a musical reflection, an interpretation of an idea. The style is slightly progressive and trancy however it should not be categorized...it is what it is...a musical reflection, as will be all the tracks of this album I'm working on. Music is an art. Take 9 minutes to reflect and feel it. 

McLaz - Babylon (Wonders Album)

The ancient city of Petra, Jordan. A stunning example of what can be achieved by the human race. Once again like all the tracks in this project I used this wonders inspiration to produce my own musical interpretation of Petra. I wanted to capture elements of what it may have been like back in time where Petra was an industrious site, bustling with life and overcoming impossible natural living conditions in the deserts of what we now call Jordan. This is music to reflect to, listen to. This is not for charts or a reputation, this is merely my attempt at improvised interpretational art...enjoy the sounds for what they are.

The Great Wall Of China. The division between what once a troubled land, tales of legends and battle scars are embedded in its ancient yet unrelenting stone face. One can only imagine what this wonder has endured over the decades. This track is something to inspire you to meditate on this, re-live the walls stories and create your own ideas with the guidance of this track. This track is my musical representation of the wall, it is my art, nothing more. Enjoy this for what it is, a reflection and interpretation through the medium of music.

The lost city of Atlantis. Mythically lying at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, ruled by greek god Poseidon and holding mystery and awe since its sinking in 360BC. This ancient land regardless of its reality creates a sense of wonder from the abyss. Hopefully this track capture a part of it and gives you a few minutes to reflect on those ideas, and inspire you to imagine what the lost city of Atlantis would be like.

McLaz remix of this classic house track. All created in Ableton in ableton live. Not mastered professionally but im sure its in a perfectly useable state to demolish dancefloors as it is. Enjoy, share, blog etc.

Junior Jack - Stupidisco (McLaz Remix)

A pretty much full original track with the classic 'kings of tomorrow' vocals on top simply because they fitted quite nicely more than anything else. Big house banger. Hope you all enjoy, share and tell everybody about it!!!

FYI, nothing has been actually sampled in this production it has been completely re-engineered from the ground up. Obviously it goes without say that this is influenced by the classic dance track 'Ayla'. Ready for the christmas season, I thought i would create a bit of a festive number. With a bit of a dirty bassline and some percussive work the result is an early christmas present for all...enjoy, share, like etc. spread the love. :)

Everything but the vocals was made using average keyboard skills, natural creativity, a bit of ableton knowledge, a sound engineering degree, and a home studio with VXT 6 KRK's as reference monitors for the final version...I'd love to have the time to finish this properly but I don't get paid for this I make music because I enjoy it. Hope you enjoy it too :)...feel free to share, download and play it wherever you like...thats what its meant for.
