I started writing this right after I got back from my show tonight while I was messing around with the new Logic Pro X. I really like this. Like, a lot.

I wanted to do another quick test of my 8 string, this time to use more of the low E string and see how it fits into my current mix. I also wanted to get to grips with some chords using the lowest string.

Overjoyed

I decided on a different song to play but I can't upload that one because it's going to be released later as a song by my band, Aria. But here is this one if you want to check it out. My Carvin DC800 is scheduled to arrive tomorrow and I'll be writing and recording some cool stuff with that as soon as I get it but in the mean time, here is an idea I wrote a couple weeks ago. Like I said about everything else of mine I find to be postable, I hope to turn this idea into a full song.

Eye D Uh (Written 8/1/14)

Another idea I started working on. This is a darker and heavier one. I was trying to get a Monuments mixed with Meshuggah vibe with this. I'm hoping to have my buddy Varun put some vocals on this once it's finished. Him and I have been talking about doing a song together for a long time now. And yes, this one starts out with that "telephone lines" effect in the beginning too. I promise all of my songs don't start out like that. This one was also written and recorded with the Carvin DC800. I think the tone I got with this guitar is so strong and heavy. I love it!

August 25th

A quick test i whipped together to showcase my Blackmachine B6 in action.  The clip came out a bit better than i had expected, maybe ill expand on this in the future.

Lick My Love Pump (WIP)

So I got this Two Notes Torpedo Live which is a loadbox and very customizable cab sim/IR unit wrapped into one.  Plugged my Laney Ironheart into it and of course used my Protone Misha Mansoor Signature Overdrive pedal in front and the tone was most pleasing!

Whipped up a quick clip to demo the sounds, hope ya dig!

Guitar is my Jackson Custom Shop 7 (the blue sparkle one) with BKP Aftermaths tuned to Drop Ab.

Djearl - Katy Perry (Pearl Metal/Djent Remix)

I did this remix a pretty long while ago. I didn't re-record anything besides the new lead at the end, I just updated the mix on it to make it sound a bit better. And for some reason there is a long silence at the end. Sorry about that. I'll fix it.. eventually.. Yeah, I'm lazy.
